#R1# Perez tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Jes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# Jes gets tackled into the ropes by Perez. Perez maintains the clinch. #BC# Jes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Perez takes one to the chin there. Perez throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Perez wants to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Perez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Perez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jes connects with a looping right hand.
Perez is looking to clinch but Jes is avoiding it.
Jes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Perez throws a head kick that misses and Jes counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jes cracks a nice hook into Perez's ribs. Perez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. #T1# Jes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Perez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jes darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Perez throws a head kick that misses. A counter left hand to the body from Jes misses its target. Perez misses with a wild body shot. Perez doesn't manage to clinch there - Jes circles away.
Jes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Perez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Perez wants to clinch. Jes lands a head shot. Jes scores with a body shot.
Jes punishes Perez's body with a nice straight punch. Jes lands a nice hook to Perez's body. Perez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Andreas Jes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T2# This has been an exciting period of action! Jes cracks Perez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jes throws out a powerful jab. Perez closes the distance but Jes moves to the side and Jes counters with a straight right hand. Jes clobbers Perez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Perez ducks right into an uppercut from Jes. Perez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jes lands a slapping body shot.
Perez looks winded! Jes lands a nice shot to the body.
Jes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Perez. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Perez looks to land a combination but Jes avoids it well. Jes cracks Perez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Perez walks into a straight right hand from Jes. Jes works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Andreas Jes dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.#R2# Danga de danga de dang - Jes scores with a four punch combination! Andreas Jes is winning the standup battle so far. Perez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Perez fails in his attempt to clinch. Perez needs to keep his hands up - Jes had a free shot at his head there. Jes jabs at Perez's body. Jes connects with a body shot that sends Perez's belly button to the back. Perez wants to clinch. Jes connects with a body shot. Perez wants to clinch. Jes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!#T1# Nice cross by Jes. Perez on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.#ROC#Perez is rocked! Perez walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
