Boyd wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Boyd with a poor takedown and Santorino counters with a one-two to the body. Santorino swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Boyd appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Good exchange - Santorino coming out on top. Santorino scores with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#KD2# Santorino lands a big right hand that sends Boyd crashing to the mat! Boyd's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Santorino connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boyd scrambles back to his feet. Boyd fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Santorino manages to avoid it. It seemed like Santorino was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Santorino swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Santorino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boyd.
Boyd goes for a double leg but Santorino avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Santorino continues to drive forward.#BC# Boyd manages to break the clinch.

Boyd shoots in looking for a takedown. Santorino tries to sprawl out of it but Boyd keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santorino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A little jabbing left from Santorino on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boyd throws a right and a left that Santorino avoids nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boyd jabbing away but nothing is landing. Santorino throws out a counter right but Boyd avoids it with no problem. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darren changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Darren cracks Boyd with an open hand slap. Boyd wants to clinch up but Darren keeps it at a distance. Darren lands a head kick. Boyd smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CUT#It looks like Andrew Boyd has been cut. Rafael Darren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Darren scores with a head kick.
Darren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boyd steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Darren.#TD2# Boyd shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Darren napping and manages to drive through into side control! Darren tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Darren tries to escape the position.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Darren tries to get out of the position. Boyd with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
