#R1##TD# Vivar I changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Proctor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB# Vivar I tries for a kimura but Proctor is defending well. Proctor can't do much from the bottom here. Proctor is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vivar I has just dragged him back down to the mat.#SUB# Vivar I tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vivar I has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB# Vivar I tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Proctor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vivar I asserts his dominance and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Vivar I has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Proctor is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vivar I yanks on the arm and Proctor is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vivar I.

#R1# Vivar I lands a jab to Carswell's midsection.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Carswell. Vivar I is trying to control Carswell's posture but Carswell avoids it. Vivar I is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #SUB2# Carswell swings around for an armbar but Vivar I sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carswell's guard.#SUB# Vivar I thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #SUB# Vivar I drops back looking for a leg! Carswell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carswell manages to kick Vivar I off! Vivar I jumps back into Carswell's guard. Carswell is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #SUB2# Carswell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #T1##SUB# Vivar I drops back looking for a leg! Carswell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carswell manages to kick Vivar I off! Vivar I jumps back into Carswell's guard. #SUB2# Carswell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vivar I defends well.#SUB2# Carswell working for submissions but it's allowed Vivar I to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vivar I works his foot free and advances to mount. Vivar I prevents Carswell from getting the reversal. #R1# Mitchell goes for a double leg but Vivar I avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vivar I continues to drive forward. Mitchell fails with a takedown attempt. #TD2# Mitchell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Mitchell. Vivar I parries the strikes from Mitchell easily there. Mitchell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Vivar I to escape.
Mitchell throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Vivar I works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mitchell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Vivar I defending well though. Vivar I keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Mitchell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#T1# Vivar I trying to control here.

I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mitchell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mitchell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mitchell working some strikes from top position. Mitchell throws a big elbow that misses. Vivar I lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Mitchell pulls Vivar I in close to prevent any damage. #SUB# Vivar I postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mitchell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vivar I, into his guard. #REVB# Mitchell is looking to work some ground and pound but Vivar I has wrist control.#T3# Mitchell postures up and lands a big shot to Vivar I's brow. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mitchell's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mitchell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mitchell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Vivar I is breathing heavily. Mitchell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mitchell wants to control from the top but Vivar I keeps moving. Mitchell cracks Vivar I with a solid left hand. Mitchell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mitchell landing with the ground and pound. #T4# Mitchell with a flurry of punches that miss. Mitchell looking to sit in guard and control but Vivar I gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Mitchell keeping full guard, as Vivar I tries to pass. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vivar I is fighting to break Mitchell's control of his arms but Mitchell is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.#SUB2# Mitchell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vivar I gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Let's get back to the scrappin!#R2# Mitchell shoots in looking for a takedown but Vivar I manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mitchell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. An attempted straight right counter from Vivar I misses the target. No luck with that takedown attempt from Vivar I. Mitchell changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Mitchell shoots in for a takedown but Vivar I shows good takedown defense. Vivar I throws a big counter combination but Mitchell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#TD2# Mitchell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Vivar I is fighting to break Mitchell's control of his arms but Mitchell is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mitchell pulls Vivar I in close to his closed guard and prevents Vivar I from doing any damage or advancing position.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#TD2# Mitchell scores a trip takedown into side control.
