Cervantes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cordova napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cordova is trying to get back to half guard.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Cervantes has an Americana. Cordova didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cervantes is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cervantes hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Cervantes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zelda sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zelda misses with a looping left.
Cervantes throws a nice looking combination but Zelda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zelda scores with a one two! Cervantes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Cervantes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Zelda rattles Cervantes with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Cervantes tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Zelda dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Cervantes stiff and motionless on the mat!

Hutchinson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Cervantes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hutchinson as he jumps to the side.
Hutchinson's corner calls for a 1-2. Hutchinson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. #T2#

Oh Cervantes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miguel Cervantes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cervantes shoots in looking for a takedown. Hutchinson tries to sprawl out of it but Cervantes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hutchinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
