Footer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vann to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Vann sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Footer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T1#
Footer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vann working some strikes from top position.
Vann connects with a couple of short punches.
Vann passes into half guard.
Vann uses his free foot to push down on Footer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Footer.
Vann blocks Footer's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. #SUB#
Footer tries to improve his position but Vann has taken his back! Vann has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Footer tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Vann pushes Footer away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
