Kaarduu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It seemed like Mercado was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mercado is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mercado lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kaarduu will be OK.
