Dhu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dhu is in close to Jackson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dhu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dhu is one step ahead there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ghillie Dhu. Well Dhu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Nesse fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kesse Nesse. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Nesse drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jackson is trying to control the position but Nesse postures up. Nesse slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. #R1# Jackson moves away from the strike by Carrillo. Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carrillo.
Jordan Carrillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Carrillo loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch. Carrillo throws out a powerful jab. Carrillo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Carrillo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jackson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jackson slips a jab from Carrillo. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carrillo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Carrillo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
