Taker tries to counter by closing the distance. Jackson Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oliveira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taker somewhat. Oliveira tries to land a body kick#TD2# and Taker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oliveira won't be happy with that. What's Oliveira going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.#SUB2# Taker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Oliveira, who protects the arm well. Oliveira is not content to let Taker control the position. #T1# Oliveira wants to get back to his feet but Taker drags him back down. Taker trying to control the position but Oliveira is working away. Oliveira struggling a bit here. Oliveira is looking for a sweep.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Oliveira throwing hammer fists to the chest of Taker. What's that going to do exactly? Taker throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Oliveira because Taker loaded up on that one. Oliveira is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Oliveira definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Taker content just to control the position here. #T3# Taker working the ground and pound effectively.
Taker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Oliveira is desperately trying to improve his position but Taker has a good base and remains in mount. Oliveira wants to control but Taker is having none of it. Oliveira is trying to escape the mount.

Taker avoids the attempt from Oliveira to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Oliveira might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Taker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Oliveira bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Taker is breathing heavily. Oliveira misses with a body kick. Taker moves out of range of the body kick. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A solid body kick from Oliveira. Oliveira takes a swing at Taker's ribcage but misses. Taker tries to counter by closing the distance. Oliveira digs a good hook to Taker's body.
Oliveira throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Oliveira punishes Taker's body with a nice straight punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Taker moves forwards but Oliveira connects with a nice, crisp jab. Oliveira throws a half hearted mid kick. Oliveira throws a head kick but Taker moves out of range.
#T2# Oliveira scores with a push kick. Oliveira is looking to land body kicks. Jackson Oliveira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Oliveira throws a push kick but Taker slaps the foot to one side. Oliveira tries a head kick but it misses.
Oliveira throws a series of punches but Taker avoids them all with ease. Taker will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Oliveira throws a quick counter kick to the body but Taker avoids it. Taker has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Oliveira. A thudding body kick lands there by Oliveira!

Taker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oliveira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Taker manages to avoid it. Taker raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Oliveira scores with a jab to the jaw.#CUT#It looks like Luc Taker has been cut. A kick lands to the mid section there for Oliveira. Oliveira throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. #T3# Oliveira throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.#KD# Oliveira cracks Taker with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Taker looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Oliveira finish him?
#ROC#Taker is rocked! Taker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Taker is still on wobbly legs! Can Oliveira finish him? Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Oliveira. Taker shrugs it off though. Oliveira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Taker on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taker takes a body punch but keeps moving. Oliveira steps in with a hook that catches Taker right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Oliveira follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Taker looks absolutely devastated.

Taker won't allow Hayes to sweep him here. Taker is looking to pass into half guard but Hayes pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hayes is in guard.#REVB# Hayes passes easily into side control. Nice work. Taker is looking to reverse the position. Taker being controlled for a moment. Hayes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Taker keeps working. Taker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T1# Taker struggling a bit here. Taker tries to buck Hayes off but Hayes is having none of it. Hayes trying to control the action but Taker is working from the bottom. Taker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #CL2# Necro darts in and clinches Taker up against the cage.#BC# Taker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Necro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gables goes for a double leg but Taker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Taker continues to drive forward.#TD2# Taker gets control of Gables's arms and successfully pulls guard. Taker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Gables stopping the sweep attempt from Taker. And that's the end of the fight! Luc Taker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Taker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Taker shows good takedown defense. #TD2# Johnson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Taker has control of Johnson's left arm, preventing Johnson from doing any damage. #SUB# Johnson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Taker has locked up a guillotine! Taker's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Johnson is holding on here and Taker must be using up a lot of energy. Johnson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Taker gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
