Verse works over Stephens's head and body with a nice combination.#CL2# Verse rushes Stephens and presses him up against the cage. Stephens jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Verse walks away with a smile on his face. Stephens gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Verse fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.#CL2# Verse instigates a clinch. Verse is working Stephens over against the cage. Verse leaning his opponent against the cage. Verse works on Stephens's body with a couple of short punches.#T1##BC2# Verse manages to break the clinch.
Stephens looks to land a left hand but Verse moved out of range nicely. Some wild striking there from Verse.
Verse connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stephens's hands.#CL2# Verse closes the distance and pushes Stephens back into the cage. Stephens wants to control the pace but Verse is squirming around nicely. Verse is looking to get to half guard. Stephens trying to control but Verse is having none of it. You get the feeling that Verse really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Verse throws a right hand that Prigozhin ducks under and follows up with a left that Prigozhin also avoids with ease. Verse throws a right and a left that both miss. Prigozhin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Verse circles away quickly and effectively. Verse takes a shot right to the bread basket. Verse misses with a few strikes there.
Prigozhin unleashes a big counter combination but Verse bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Verse throws the left hand but Prigozhin avoids the punch easily.#CL# Verse pushes Prigozhin up against the cage in a clinch. Verse lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Prigozhin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Verse blocks it with crossed arms. Verse stalling.
Prigozhin pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Verse.

Patron takes one to the side of the head.
Verse throws a low kick, looking for Patron's leg but Patron calmly moves out of range. Patron was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Patron keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Verse. Patron ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Patron displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Verse throws out the jab. Verse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Oh Patron is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Verse cracks Patron on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Patron falls backwards against the cage. Verse follows up with more strikes that drop Patron to his knees. Verse keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Patron! This one is all over!

A shot to the body from Gilmore misses and Verse counters with a three punch combo that has Gilmore backing up. Gilmore nods at Verse to acknowledge the strikes. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gilmore has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Verse throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gilmore misses with a looping right. Verse was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Verse sizes up Gilmore with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gilmore misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Verse.
Verse throws a leg kick but Gilmore checks it. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Verse enables Gilmore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Verse manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Verse has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Gilmore has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Verse is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Gilmore has Verse pressed against the cage, preventing Verse from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Verse looks to throw an elbow but misses. Verse is trying to push Gilmore away but Gilmore has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Verse gets underhooks to prevent Gilmore's takedown attempt.

Verse leaves StPierra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. StPierra looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. StPierra has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Verse misses with the combination.
Verse stalks StPierra and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into StPierra's face. StPierra staggers backwards, shaken.#T1##CL2# StPierra has managed to clinch.

Verse lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Verse misses the target. Piotr clobbers Verse with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Piotr tries to bum rush Verse with a series of wild strikes but Verse uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Piotr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Verse doesn't seem bothered though. Verse takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Piotr tests Verse's chin there with a solid looking shot. Piotr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#T1# Verse tries to move into range but Piotr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Piotr connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Verse momentarily.

and Verse counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Verse throws a body kick that misses. Espinosa throws a head kick that misses and Verse counters with a stiff right hand. Verse moves out of range of the body kick from Espinosa.

And that's the end of the fight! Roland Verse showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Verse, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
