Savage fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leonard sprawls well initially but Savage persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Leonard tries to kick Savage off in order to stand up. Savage Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Leonard is breathing heavily.
Savage working the head and body with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage is staying tight to Leonard's torso, preventing him from escaping. #SUB2#
Savage has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Leonard is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Savage yanks on the arm and Leonard is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Savage.
