Karaoglu wants to control but Wyatt postures up.

Wyatt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Karaoglu has escaped the position, nice work there. #SUB#
Wyatt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wyatt trying to control the action but Karaoglu is working from the bottom.

Wyatt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Karaoglu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wyatt.

Wyatt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Grant's guard.
Wyatt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Wyatt tries to free his leg and advance position but Grant is retaining full guard.

Wyatt looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

During a confident post fight interview, Messiah Wyatt thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Wyatt is in close to Mathis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mathis pulls Wyatt in to control the position.
Mathis wants to get back to his feet but Wyatt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wyatt looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Wyatt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mathis for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mathis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Mathis is bucking up trying to escape but Wyatt cracks him with another couple of good strikes.#T4#
Wyatt is landing with some decent strikes but Mathis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Wyatt throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Mathis has his hands clasped together but Wyatt breaks the hold and Mathis is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Wyatt!

A relieved looking Messiah Wyatt thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Boston Mathis spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back.'.
