#R1# Doggen tries a head kick but it misses.
Doggen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baum tries to avoid it but Doggen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baum to the ground. Baum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Baum lands with a cross. Baum stuffs the takedown attempt from Doggen. Doggen gets slowly back to his feet. Doggen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baum as he jumps to the side. Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Doggen. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Baum. Doggen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baum but Baum pushes him off and we're back to square one. Baum has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baum misses with the combination.
Doggen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Baum finds it's way round the side to connect with Doggen's head. #T1# OH! Doggen has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Baum smells blood and charges in for the finish! Baum unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Doggen sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adam Baum! Adam Baum decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

#R1# Brown circles away from the clinch attempt#TD2# and Brown counters with a nice double leg into guard. #SUB2# Brown has gone for a leg lock! Doggen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.#REVR# We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB2# Brown is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Doggen frees his head nicely. Oh but Brown has switched to an armbar! Doggen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Fred Doggen really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 191.8, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Benny Bravo was cancelled. So, because the bout was cancelled, Benny Bravo retains his title. |

#R1# Doggen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nightmare paws at him with a jab and circles away.#CL2# Doggen takes the fight into the clinch. #BC# Nightmare breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nightmare slaps away a takedown attempt from Doggen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Doggen shoots in looking for a takedown but Nightmare manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Doggen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nightmare throws a head kick but Doggen moves out of range.
Nightmare tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doggen was well out of range. Poor timing from Nightmare. And Doggen tries to counter it with a takedown but Nightmare pushes his down on his head and steps out. Nightmare misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nightmare swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doggen throws a counter combo. Nightmare misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
#CL# Nightmare moves into the clinch successfully.
Nightmare has Doggen pressed against the cage.
Doggen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Doggen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.#TD# Nightmare gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Doggen regains guard.
#SUB# Doggen wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Nightmare has taken Doggen's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Doggen has been forced to tap!
