It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mathis's shoulder. That is not cool. Mathis wants to get back to his feet but Jester drags him back down. Jester has control of an arm but Mathis manages to advance to Jester's back! Mathis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mathis avoiding Jester 's attempts to control his hands. Will Mathis go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
#SUB# Mathis is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jester has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. #T1# Jester manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mathis's guard. Nice work there by Jester.

Sloppy strikes from Mathis. Those never looked like landing. Mathis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
#CL2# Moore clinches up against the cage.#TD# Mathis manages to pull guard.
Moore working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Moore trying to control but Mathis is working from the bottom. Mathis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moore is one step ahead there. Moore in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Moore has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mathis is trying to keep Moore in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Mathis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mathis is looking to stand up but Moore isn't so interested in that idea. Moore postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moore working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#T1# Moore tries to free his leg and advance position but Mathis is retaining full guard. Moore postures up in Mathis's guard and throws a big left but Mathis blocks it. Moore prevents Mathis from getting back to his feet. Moore stands up over Mathis, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Moore trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. #SUB# Mathis isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Moore stacks Mathis on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moore! Mathis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Mathis appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Boston Mathis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Moore has taken the fight to the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mathis pulls Wyatt in to control the position. Mathis wants to get back to his feet but Wyatt is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wyatt looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Wyatt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mathis for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyatt scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wyatt is stalling in the full guard. #T1# Wyatt wants to pass the guard but Mathis is keeping the position. Wyatt seems content to control from guard here. Mehoff throws a lazy right hand but Mathis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mathis tries to counter with a clinch but Mehoff shakes him off and moves away. Sloppy strikes from Mehoff. Those never looked like landing. Mehoff swinging wildly here.
Mathis throws a counter combo. Mathis tries to clinch but Mehoff moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mathis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mehoff tries to avoid it but Mathis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mehoff to the ground. Mehoff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mehoff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
