Nice straight punches there by Kush. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kush. Kush jabs at Son's body. Son steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kush. letting Szewczyk counter with a right hand. Son looks to throw the jab but Szewczyk is out of range. Son dives in and grabs Szewczyk's left leg, looking for a takedown. Szewczyk pushes down on Son's head and hops out. Szewczyk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Son. Son circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Son misses with a leg kick and Szewczyk counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A head kick by Son misses and Son takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Szewczyk scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Szewczyk uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Son has time to react. Son is looking to clinch but Szewczyk is avoiding it.
Szewczyk looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Jin Soo Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Szewczyk, as that shot connected.
