Snow connects with a right hand. Johnson shakes it off. Ricardo Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Snow slips the punch. Snow lands with a kick to the ribs.
Snow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Johnson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Snow. Snow fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Johnson moves away from the strike by Snow. Johnson thuds a left hand into Snow's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Snow doesn't seem phased though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow wants to break free but Johnson has control.

#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Nakamura. Snow is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Snow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Snow taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nakamura asserts his dominance and retains side control. Nakamura landing strikes. Nakamura working the body and head with strikes. Nakamura scores with a couple of short elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SUB2# Nakamura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nakamura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Snow tries to escape but Nakamura is in control. #SUB2# Nakamura is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Snow knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nakamura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snow keeps working. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Nakamura can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Snow connects with a high kick. Snow tries to bum rush Asakura with a series of wild strikes but Asakura uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A big right from Snow misses. Asakura misses with a few strikes there.
Snow throws a push kick but Asakura slaps the foot to one side. Asakura lands a jab to the head.
Snow explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Asakura cracks Snow with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Snow takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Makhi Snow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Asakura uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snow.

Snow wants to get back to his feet but Schwinn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwinn goes for a double leg but Snow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Snow continues to drive forward.
