Kush scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kon finish him?!#ROC2#Kush is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Kona Kush has been cut.#CL2# Kon rushes Kush and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Oh Kush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kush tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kon just stands there and leans against the cage. Kon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Clinched against the cage, Kon lands a big elbow that drops Kush! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Kush is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kin Kon! Kin Kon is the new bantamweight champion! After the fight, Kin Kon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |

#R1# Son keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kush. Kush seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. A big right from Kush misses. Kush cracks Son with a right hand to the side of the head. Son walks into a straight right hand from Kush. Son takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Nice straight punches there by Kush. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kush. Kush jabs at Son's body. Son steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kush. Kush displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Son throws out the jab. A little feinted left hand from Kush on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kush lands a jab to the nose. This has been an exciting period of action! Kush throws a series of strikes that have Son backpedaling.

It looked like Kush was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Son. Jin Soo Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kush feints a jab promting Dahan to slip. Kush then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dahan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dahan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Matsushima manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Matsushima prevents a takedown attempt there.
