and Makunouchi counters with a stiff right hand. #CUT#It looks like Mike Putin has been cut. Putin fails with an attempt to clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Makunouchi misses the target. Makunouchi moves away from the strike by Putin. #CL2# Putin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. #BC# Makunouchi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Makunouchi jabs Putin to the body, keeping him at a distance.#CL2# Putin closes the distance and clinches. Makunouchi blocks a body shot from Putin. Putin keeps control of Makunouchi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC# Makunouchi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

#R1# Makunouchi looks to score with a jab to the body but Drummond is just out of range. Makunouchi throws a right and a left that both miss. Drummond throws out a loose jab but Makunouchi uses good head movement to avoid it. #CL# Drummond moves into the clinch successfully.
Drummond keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Makunouchi's efforts to push away. Drummond swings wildly with an uppercut but Makunouchi uses good head movement to avoid it. Makunouchi tries to break free but Drummond pushes him back against the cage. Drummond working some nice short punches in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drummond prevents Makunouchi from breaking the clinch. Drummond pushes Makunouchi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Drummond misses with a hook to the ribs.
Makunouchi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Drummond lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. #CUT#It looks like Ippo Makunouchi has been cut. A short right from Drummond on the inside. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Drummond creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #T1# Makunouchi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Drummond goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Drummond lands a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drummond swings wildly with an uppercut but Makunouchi uses good head movement to avoid it. Drummond's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Drummond misses with the head strike.

Makunouchi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Drummond defending well as Makunouchi loads up on a big left hand. It looked like Drummond wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Makunouchi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Makunouchi throws a jab but it's blocked by Drummond. Drummond is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Makunouchi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Drummond doesn't seem bothered though. Makunouchi looks to score with a jab to the body but Drummond is just out of range. Drummond takes a body punch but keeps moving. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Deebo Drummond dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Makunouchi lands with a right hand. Ippo Makunouchi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A punch combination from Makunouchi misses. Drummond is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Makunouchi can do to turn this around? Makunouchi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ippo Makunouchi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Makunouchi on the wrong end of a nice jab. Makunouchi scores with a jab to the head.

Chico Fontaine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fontaine wants to clinch. Makunouchi throws a combination. Fontaine tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Fontaine definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A left lands for Makunouchi. Fontaine looks to land a right hand but Makunouchi moved out of range. Makunouchi lands a lovely overhand right. Makunouchi throws a hook but Fontaine avoids it easily. Fontaine looks to throw the jab but Makunouchi is out of range. Makunouchi shapes to counter with a head kick. Makunouchi moves away from the strike by Fontaine. Fontaine misses with a hook.#CL# Fontaine clinches up with Makunouchi and pushes him back against the cage. #R1# Makunouchi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dobrov throws out the jab. Makunouchi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dobrov back to the cage. Makunouchi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Dobrov slips under a jab. Makunouchi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Makunouchi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dobrov.
Dobrov misses with a looping left. Makunouchi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Dobrov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Makunouchi. A swing and a miss from Dobrov. Makunouchi looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dobrov misses with a right hand and Makunouchi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Makunouchi defending well as Dobrov loads up on a big left hand. Makunouchi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Dobrov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dobrov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Makunouchi finish him?!

Glass wants to clinch. Makunouchi throws a jab when Glass was well out of range. Makunouchi looks to land a combination but Glass avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Makunouchi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Glass scrambles back to his feet. Makunouchi stalks Glass and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Glass's face. Glass staggers backwards, shaken. The fighters circling - Makunouchi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Glass fails in his attempt to clinch. Glass wants to clinch. Makunouchi cracks Glass on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Glass falls backwards against the cage. Makunouchi follows up with more strikes that drop Glass to his knees. Makunouchi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Glass! This one is all over!

Mouse throws a series of punches but Makunouchi avoids them all with ease. #KD# Makunouchi sends Mouse crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Makunouchi is motioning to the referee to let Mouse up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC#Mouse is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Makunouchi jabs at Mouse's body. Mouse is still on wobbly legs! Can Makunouchi finish him? Mouse looks winded! No joy there for Makunouchi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mouse seems to have recovered his senses. Makunouchi throws a sloppy head kick and Mouse moves out of range easily. As Makunouchi backs off Mouse throws a huge counter combo but Makunouchi manages to avoid it all. Makunouchi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mouse walks straight into a right hand from Makunouchi - that's dropped him! Makunouchi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mouse from any more punishment! Mouse complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Makunouchi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Makunouchi thows a left - swing and a miss! Ramirez slips a straight right by Makunouchi. Ramirez tries a quick counter leg kick but Makunouchi is wise to it. Makunouchi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ramirez throws a front kick aimed at Makunouchi's knee but Makunouchi avoids it well. A punch lands to the side of Ramirez 's head but he takes it in his stride.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Ramirez has knocked Makunouchi down with a huge combo! Ramirez steps away and waves a wobbly Makunouchi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2#It looks like Ippo Makunouchi has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Makunouchi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
