#R1# Legendary scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Legendary uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from San Francisco. San Francisco's coach down at THUD! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on San Francisco's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Legendary really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice jab there from San Francisco. San Francisco scores with a body shot.
Jab by San Francisco. San Francisco stalks Legendary and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Legendary's face. Legendary staggers backwards, shaken. Legendary lunges at San Francisco with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by San Francisco's hand. San Francisco takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
#ROC#San Francisco is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. San Francisco scores with a hook. San Francisco moves forwards but Legendary connects with a nice, crisp jab. San Francisco is still on wobbly legs! Can Legendary finish him? BAM! Legendary delivers a spinning backfist that drops San Francisco like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Sigandi Legendary! |

#R1# Ahola with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling San Francisco to score with a decent uppercut. Ahola bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ahola misses with a wild combination.
Ahola displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as San Francisco throws out the jab. #TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Ahola. San Francisco is trying to control Ahola's posture but Ahola avoids it. San Francisco is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ahola off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. San Francisco controls the position. This has been an exciting period of action! I really don't envy Ahola right now.
Ahola trying to control the hands but San Francisco breaks the grip. I would not like to be Ahola right now.
#SUB# Ahola is trying to defend against the choke here but San Francisco has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. San Francisco Tightens the hold and Ahola taps out furiously! San Francisco displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Danny San Francisco! |
