#R1##TD# Calvin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Calvin lands an elbow. Calvin trying to control the action but Volkov is working from the bottom. Calvin grinds an elbow into Volkov's temple. Volkov tries to escape but Calvin is in control. Calvin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Volkov down.
Calvin cracks Volkov with a big elbow. Volkov is working to avoid the ground and pound but Calvin connects with a decent elbow. Calvin landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. #ROC#Volkov is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big shot lands for Calvin! That's hurt Volkov! Will he recover? Calvin fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

#R1##TD# Boy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Volkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Boy finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB2# Boy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Volkov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Volkov pulls down on the head and he's put Boy to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1##CL# Volkov clinches with his opponent.
Volkov manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Volkov keeps control of Ellis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #BC2# Ellis manages to break the clinch.
#CL# Volkov takes the fight into the clinch. #BC2# Ellis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ellis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ellis looks for a takedown but Volkov sprawls well. Ellis misses with a takedown #CL# and Volkov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Volkov lands a shoulder strike. Volkov is trying to drag Ellis to the mat but Ellis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#BC2# Ellis breaks the clinch.

Volkov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ellis. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Volkov pulls Ellis in close to his closed guard and prevents Ellis from doing any damage or advancing position. Ellis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Volkov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Volkov has a closed guard, preventing Ellis from standing up. #T2# Volkov keeping moving, preventing Ellis from controlling successfully. Ellis wants to stand but Volkov is controlling his posture from full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Volkov wants to stand and escape but Ellis is having none of it. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ellis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ellis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Volkov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ellis wants to get up but he can't break Volkov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ellis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Volkov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #SUB2# Ellis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Volkov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ellis, into his guard. #REVR# Volkov content to stall in guard here. #T4# Volkov postures up.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Volkov preventing the sweep. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. And that is the end of the round. Ellis fails with the takedown and Volkov counters with a nice uppercut. Volkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Horrible takedown attempt by Volkov or perhaps it was just good defense by Ellis, which made it look bad. Ellis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Volkov is fending him off so far but Ellis persists. Nope, Volkov circles away and we're back to standing. Nikolai Volkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of London Ellis. Ellis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Volkov but Volkov pushes him off and we're back to square one. As Ellis looks to move away, Volkov throws a big counter combo but Ellis just gets out of the way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. This is the final round!#R3##TD# Volkov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ellis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ellis is being controlled here. Ellis looking for a sweep but Volkov has passed into full mount! Oh no! Volkov controlling from mount. Ellis is looking to improve his position but Volkov isn't that keen on the idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Volkov avoids the attempt from Ellis to control. Volkov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T1# Ellis is in all sorts of trouble here.
Volkov content just to control the position here. Ellis tries to hold on but Volkov pushes him away. Volkov manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ellis to take his back! Ellis is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Volkov.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ellis tries to break free.
Ellis is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ellis is fighting to break Volkov's control of his arms but Volkov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. London Ellis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Nikolai Volkov showed his dominance in that final round. Well Volkov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
