Tamaki fails with a takedown attempt. Tachibana fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Katsuo Tachibana dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!#R2# Tamaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tachibana is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tamaki can do to turn this around? Tamaki throws a right and a left that both miss. Tamaki dives in for a single leg takedown but Tachibana sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Tachibana shoots for a takedown but Tamaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tachibana throws a head kick but Tamaki moves out of range.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tachibana bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tamaki's guard. #REVR##SUB# Tamaki wants to reverse the position here. Tachibana has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Tamaki is forced to tap! Tamaki looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
