Lang needs to keep his hands up - Sitsongrit had a free shot at his head there.
Sitsongrit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sitsongrit looks to land a right hand but Lang moved out of range.
Lang throws a body kick that misses
and Sitsongrit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT2#It looks like Van Lang has been cut.
Lang takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sitsongrit.
Lang uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sitsongrit.
Lang appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sitsongrit misses the jab.
Sitsongrit has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lang.
Lang is looking to land body kicks.
Lang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.#T1#

Sitsongrit missing with a left hand there. Lang was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lang lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Sitsongrit throws out a loose jab but Lang uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lang tried to counter with a leg kick but Sitsongrit avoided it.
Sitsongrit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lang throws a counter high kick but Sitsongrit was just alert enough to avoid it.
Lang ducks under a wild hook from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit is looking to chop away at Lang's legs.
Sitsongrit connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lang momentarily.
Sitsongrit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lang lands a head kick!
Some bone on bone action there as Sitsongrit checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. #T2#

Okura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Okura dives in and grabs Lang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lang pushes down on Okura's head and hops out.
Okura shoots in looking for a takedown. Lang tries to sprawl out of it but Okura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Okura checks a leg kick nicely.

and Lang counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Van Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jun Okura.
Okura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lang tries to avoid it but Okura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lang to the ground. Lang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Lang counters with a thumping low kick.
Okura's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Okura's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Okura misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Van Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lang does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Lang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Okura.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Okura.
Lang plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Lang keeps the fight on the outside.
Okura's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Okura shoots in but no luck this time.
Lang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Jun Okura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang thows a body kick. Okura tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lang appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

And Okura tries to counter it with a takedown but Lang pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Okura looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lang is fending him off so far but Okura persists. Nope, Lang circles away and we're back to standing.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Okura might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Lang has got the better of the exchanges.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Lang! Okura is out on his feet! Lang rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Okura is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Okura is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

A nice leg kick from Lang, right into the meat of the thigh.
Toma tries to clinch but Lang moves out of range.
Toma misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lang.
Lang blocks a head kick by Toma.
Lang tries a quick counter leg kick but Toma is wise to it.#TD#
Toma throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lang was covering up waiting for the punch and Toma finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lang can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Toma is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Toma throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Toma thows a huge punch but Lang dodges it nicely.
Toma controlling the pace.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lang wants to control but Toma is keeping busy.
Lang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nice strikes from Toma there.
Still in half guard, Toma seems content to control.
Toma has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lang tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Toma manages to move to mount!
