Simpson misses with an uppercut. Pasic steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Simpson. Simpson loads up on a big right hand but Pasic slips the punch. Simpson misses with a hook. Pasic slips a straight right by Simpson. Pasic is looking to clinch. OJ Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Simpson. Pasic moves out of range as Simpson strikes. Pasic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice defenses there by Pasic. A jab from Simpson misses. Pasic lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That was a close round but I would say that OJ Simpson will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Simpson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pasic on the ground. Pasic is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. #R1# Simpson lands with a hook. Aki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. #CUT2#It looks like Purple Aki has been cut. Nice uppercut there from Simpson. Simpson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Simpson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD# Aki shoots in and bounces Simpson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Aki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Aki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Simpson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Aki postures up and lands a big shot to Simpson's brow. Aki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Aki postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Aki postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Simpson cracks Aki with an open hand slap. Simpson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.#CUT2#Purple Aki's cut is getting worse.#T3# Simpson scores with the left hand. Aki knows he should have avoided that one. #ROC2#Aki is rocked!#KD2# Simpson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Aki sprawling to the canvas! Aki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Simpson finish him?!
Oh Aki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! OJ Simpson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aki walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Simpson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
