Doyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morning.
It seemed like Doyle was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Doyle throws a looping overhand right but Morning ducks down to avoid it. Morning is looking to counter with head kicks. Doyle throws a sloppy body shot
and Morning counters with a good low kick that Doyle was not able to check. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doyle connects with a looping right hand.

Morning seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Morning lands a glancing blow to the side of Doyle's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Doyle stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Morning throws out a powerful jab. Doyle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

#R1# Doyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franco was well out of range. Poor timing from Doyle. Franco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Franco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Franco throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Doyle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Doyle looks to move away, Franco throws a big counter combo but Doyle just gets out of the way. Doyle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Franco fails to land with a series of punches.

Doyle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Doyle loads up on a big right hand but Franco slips the punch. Doyle lands a nice looking body shot.

Still in half guard, Bandito seems content to control.#SUB# Bandito is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Doyle is just riding it out for now. Bandito eventually gives up the hold. Bandito is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bandito throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #T1# Doyle won't allow Bandito to pass to mount. #SUB# Bandito seems to be working for a kimura but Doyle defends the submission attempt. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills.
