#R1# Slice misses with a takedown and Chai counters with a nice uppercut. #CUT2#It looks like DeMarcus Slice has been cut. Chai throws a series of punches but Slice avoids them all with ease. Slice fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Slice tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chai defends well and Slice ends up having to push Chai into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeMarcus Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chai is defending well against a takedown attempt. Slice is looking to break free of the clinch but Chai has double underhooks. Chai fails to pull guard.
Slice is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chai drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chai should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Chai misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Chai misses with a left hand #TD# and Slice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. #SU# Slice stands and steps away. Chai gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chai! But no joy. Slice shoots in for a takedown but Chai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Chai is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Slice with a body shot.#CL# Slice gets in close and instigates a clinch. #BC2# Chai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slice moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Slice attempts a counter takedown but Chai avoids it well and moves away. Slice avoids a lazy jab quite easily.#T2# Chai avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
#TD# Slice is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chai's half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chai avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Slice. Slice looks to land a strike but Chai avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Slice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chai swivels though and keeps the full guard. Slice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Slice tries to free his leg and advance position but Chai is retaining full guard. #T3# Slice throwing strikes from guard but Chai blocks nicely. Slice controls from within his opponent's guard. Chai keeping full guard, as Slice tries to pass. Slice pushing down on Chai's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. #T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Slice not doing much here.
Slice looks to land a strike but Chai avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slice seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice throws a big elbow that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.#R2##TD# Slice closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chai quickly recovers to half guard. Well, if Slice is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Slice not landing any meaningful shots this time. Slice is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chai can do to turn this around? Chai keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Slice performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice missing with the ground and pound from half guard. #T1# Slice with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. #SUB# Slice is working for a kimura but Chai is defending it quite comfortably.
Slice throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Slice takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Slice takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Slice's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chai connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Slice scrambles back to his feet.#T2# Chai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chai has eaten all the pies! Chai moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Slice dives in for a single leg takedown but Chai sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Slice tries for a takedown. No joy.

Slice tries to score a body lock takedown but Chai shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeMarcus Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slice tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chai smiles and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chai looks to throw the jab but Slice is out of range. Nice defenses there by Slice. Slice drops down looking for a counter takedown but Chai sprawls and moves away. Slice takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Chai misses with a combination
#TD# and Slice counters with a nice double leg into guard. Chai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T3# Slice with a flurry of punches that miss. #SUB# Slice is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Slice slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Chai is pulling down on Slice's head to control his posture. #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Slice looking to pass the guard. Slice controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Chai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Slice. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Chai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Slice. Chai throws a shot from downtown. Slice moves away and avoids it. Slice takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.#CUT2#DeMarcus Slice's cut is getting worse. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#KD2# Chai cracks Slice with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chai has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slice to stand back up!#ROC2#Slice is rocked! Chai avoids the head kick by Slice.
Oh Slice is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Samoan Death Machine Chai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slice throws the kick towards the body but Chai avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Samoan Death Machine Chai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on DeMarcus Slice's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!#R3# Slice keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chai. Slice seems to have got his legs back now. Slice displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chai throws out the jab. Slice attempts a counter takedown but Chai avoids it well and moves away. Slice moves out of range as Chai strikes. Chai circles away from the clinch attempt.
Slice throws a leg kick that is checked and Chai counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Slice badly! Chai follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Slice out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Chai finished him against the cage.
