We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St Pierre throws a big elbow that misses. #T1# Peters working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from St Pierre. St Pierre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. St Pierre postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. St Pierre sitting in guard here, content to control. Peters is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst St Pierre is controlling him. St Pierre content to stall in guard here.
