That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mferi lands an overhand right. Dukes is looking to clinch. #KD# Mferi sends Dukes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mferi is motioning to the referee to let Dukes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC#Dukes is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dukes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dukes is still on wobbly legs! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#Dukes is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Plugger Dukes has been cut.#CL2# Fitzwater rushes Dukes and presses him up against the cage. Oh Dukes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fitzwater is trying to push Dukes away but Dukes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fitzwater stalling against the cage.
Fitzwater takes a knee to the side of the body. Dukes seems to have got his legs back now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fitzwater wants to take the fight to the mat but Dukes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Fitzwater is trying to pull guard but Dukes turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Fitzwater fails to pull guard.
Plugger Dukes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deven Fitzwater. The referee calls for Dukes to work.

Dukes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dukes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fitzwater's head. That was a close round but I would say that Plugger Dukes will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Plugger Dukes's cut. That's the end of the interval. Dukes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A jab from Dukes does it's job there. Hearse throws a lazy right hand but Dukes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dukes feints the counter takedown. Hearse tries to move into range but Dukes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hearse dips to his left and cracks Dukes with an uppercut!
