Kormier working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Lesnar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kormier after a bit of a struggle. Lesnar is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kormier pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kormier has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lesnar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.#TD# Lesnar gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Kormier looking for submissions off his back. Kormier keeping hold of Lesnar's head, controlling as best he can. Lesnar drops an elbow to the side of Kormier's head. Kormier is pressing down on Lesnar's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Lesnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lesnar throws an elbow that misses. Kormier uses the momentum to reverse the position. Kormier wants to take a breather but Lesnar is having none of it. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lesnar is looking to improve his position.
Lesnar is not content to let Kormier control the position. Lesnar won't allow Kormier to pass to mount. #T3# Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lesnar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

We've been informed that Kormier has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Kormier misses with a takedown attempt. Lesnar tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kormier manages to circle out of the way. Mason Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denise Kormier. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kormier doesn't manage to clinch there - Lesnar circles away.

Dahman throws a big shot that misses. Lesnar feinted with a counter takedown. Lesnar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dahman. Dahman wants to clinch up but Lesnar keeps it at a distance. A head kick by Dahman misses #TD# and Lesnar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dahman pushes Lesnar off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dahman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lesnar grinds an elbow into Dahman's temple. Lesnar lands a few punches from side control. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lesnar with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
