Son waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Suarez. Suarez throwing a counter right hand but Son manages to avoid it. Suarez shoots for a double leg takedown but Son sprawls well. He's pushed Suarez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Son throws a head kick but Suarez moves out of range.
No joy there for Son, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baron Welch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Welch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Suarez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Suarez doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Suarez swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Illing throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Suarez tries for a takedown. No joy.
