#R1# Jab by Balschmieter.#TD# Baldwin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Balschmieter takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Balschmieter misses with an elbow from the bottom. Balschmieter tries to bench press Baldwin off him but Baldwin keeps the position. Balschmieter misses with a strike from the bottom. Balschmieter is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Baldwin throws an elbow but Balschmieter slips to the side and avoids it well.#SUB# Baldwin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Balschmieter is looking to regain half guard here but Baldwin keeps moving and retains side control. Balschmieter gets back to half guard.#T1# Balschmieter wants to get back to full guard. Balschmieter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Baldwin is keen to just control but Balschmieter is a slippery customer.#SUB# Baldwin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Balschmieter tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Balschmieter is not content to let Baldwin control the position. Balschmieter strikes from the bottom but Baldwin passes into mount!
Balschmieter sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Balschmieter tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Baldwin wants to take a breather but Balschmieter is having none of it. #T2# Balschmieter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Balschmieter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Baldwin blocks the strikes from Balschmieter.
Baldwin is breathing heavily.#SUB# Baldwin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Balschmieter tries to roll over but Baldwin keeps him under control. Balschmieter tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Balschmieter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Balschmieter gets back to full guard.

#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Balschmieter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Baldwin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A jab from Balschmieter does it's job there. Nice straight punches there by Balschmieter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Balschmieter. Balschmieter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baldwin's hands. Baldwin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Balschmieter finds it's way round the side to connect with Baldwin's head. #ROC2#Baldwin is rocked! Baldwin tries to get into range but Balschmieter steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Baldwin! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Balschmieter scores the big KO victory!
