#R1##CL# Bara has Chaude up against the cage in a clinch.
Chaude tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Chaude is trying to force a seperation but Bara has the dominant position. Chaude wants to get back to striking at distance but Bara won't allow it.
Chaude wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bara has him pressed against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Bara - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
#TD# Bara drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bara tries to land a sweep but no joy. #SUB# Bara throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chaude controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Chaude must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Bara looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#T1##SUB# Bara working for a triangle but Chaude defends it easily.
#SUB# Bara pushes a forearm under Chaude's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Chaude is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

#R1# Chaude lands a jab. A jab from Rockefeller misses. Chaude is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Rockefeller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Chaude throws an off balance right hand
and Rockefeller counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A right-left combo lands from Rockefeller. #CUT2#It looks like Alain Chaude has been cut. Rockefeller lands with a right hand. Rockefeller scores with a decent looking hook. Chaude throws a jab when Rockefeller was well out of range. Chaude looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rockefeller has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chaude finds it's way round the side to connect with Rockefeller's head. Rockefeller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chaude steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rockefeller.#CL# Chaude clinches up with Rockefeller and pushes him back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Chaude. A shot in the inside from Chaude. Rockefeller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A nice right hand lands inside from Chaude. #BC# Chaude breaks from the clinch.
#T1# Rockefeller throws a body punch but Chaude moves out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Chaude misses the target.#CL# Chaude closes the distance and pushes Rockefeller back into the cage.#BC# Chaude manages to break the clinch.
Rockefeller throws a poor cross that misses
and Chaude counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC#Rockefeller is rocked! Rockefeller throws a lazy right hand but Chaude sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rockefeller is still on wobbly legs! Can Chaude finish him? Rockefeller walks straight into a right hand from Chaude - that's dropped him! Chaude jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rockefeller from any more punishment! Rockefeller complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Alain Chaude! Alain Chaude very nearly forgot to thank Wrestler Wayfare amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. |

#R1# Aikau takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.#CUT2#It looks like Eddie Aikau has been cut. Aikau throws a leg kick and Chaude connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Aikau connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Aikau misses with a hook
letting Chaude counter with a right hand. Aikau slips a straight right by Chaude. It looked like Aikau was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chaude. Aikau throws out a loose jab but Chaude uses good head movement to avoid it. Aikau rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chaude counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A decent looking cross lands there for Chaude. Chaude tries to clinch but Aikau is having none of it. Chaude misses with a looping left. A left and a right from Aikau both land. Nice combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chaude is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A big right from Chaude misses. We've been told by Aikau's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Aikau slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Chaude throws a shot to the body.
Chaude moves out of range as Aikau strikes. Chaude throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Aikau throws an off balance right hand
and Chaude counters with a stiff right hand. Aikau misses with a wild combination.
#T1# Aikau has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Aikau there as he acknowledges the shot. Aikau throws a leg kick enabling Chaude to counter with a crisp jab. Aikau dips to his left and cracks Chaude with an uppercut! Aikau misses with a hook
letting Chaude counter with a right hand. Nice body punch from Aikau. Chaude defending well as Aikau loads up on a big left hand. Eddie Aikau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aikau misses with a body kick. Aikau throws a body shot but no joy. Aikau throws a lazy uppercut
and Chaude counters with a straight right hand. Aikau rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chaude counters with a stiff right hand. #ROC2#Aikau is rocked! Aikau swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Chaude counters with a big left hand that crumples Aikau! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

#R1# Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chaude, as that shot connected.
Chaude tries to clinch up. Chaude thuds his right hand into Short's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Chaude works the jab nicely.#ROC2#Short is rocked! Chaude measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Short! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
