We've been told by Yagan's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Johns has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shamwong uses from the top position.

Joao Drogo had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 173.5, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Thai Shamwong was cancelled. |
