We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammond steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lane. #R1# Lane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams. Lane throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Williams! But no joy. Williams has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Some wild striking there from Lane.
Lane has his takedown stuffed and Williams counters with a left to the body. Lane throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams jabs at Lane's body. Williams scores with a nice strike. Lane takes one on the button. Williams scores with a shot to the body.
Lane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lane throws a combination that misses and Williams counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab lands there for Williams. Williams connects with a looping right hand.

#R1# A left and a right from Lane both land. Nice combination. #CUT2#It looks like Jadiel Frost has been cut. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Frost. Lane shrugs it off though. Lane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Frost momentarily.

#R1##TD2# Lane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sajuric prevents Lane from getting back to his feet. Lane seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Lane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lane tries to get out of the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sajuric accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sajuric throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lane wants to stand and escape but Sajuric is having none of it. Sajuric works over Lane with some ground and pound from guard.#ES# Lane pushes Sajuric off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sajuric closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lane circles away. Sajuric shoots in for a takedown but Lane shows good takedown defense. Sajuric fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Drake Lane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Lane seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Lahey blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Lane gets through Lahey's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Lahey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
