Fighter B fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fighter B throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter A moves out of range easily.
Fighter A misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fighter B gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fighter A counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter B looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#TD2#
Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fighter A wants to get back to full guard.#T1#
Fighter A slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Fighter B wants to pass the guard but Fighter A is keeping the position.
Fighter A doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Fighter B postures up.
Fighter A is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fighter B is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Fighter A manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter B manages to get himself to full guard. #REVR##SUB2#

Fighter A wants to control from the top but Fighter B keeps moving.
Fighter A stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fighter B swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fighter B escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fighter A gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter A holds on and takes a little breather.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fighter B connects with a nice short shot to Fighter A's temple.

Fighter A looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fighter B is nestled in close to Fighter A, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Fighter B is looking to work some ground and pound but Fighter A has wrist control.

Fighter A slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fighter A takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
