Reno avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King. Reno tries to get to full guard but King has control of the leg. King lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. King lands strikes from half guard. Reno won't allow King to pass to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# King is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reno is just riding it out for now. King eventually gives up the hold. #SUB# Reno is defending against the submission attempts here by King.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reno sees that one coming and sprawls well. #R1# Ali shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. King defends it nicely. Ali looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ali with a lazy takedown attempt and King counters with a one-two to the body. #TD# King throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ali tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. King is in Ali's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. King is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ali doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

King frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Howlett swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by King. King with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Howlett to score with a decent uppercut. Howlett closes the distance but King moves to the side #TD# and King counters with a shoot takedown. Howlett fights it but they end up in guard. King working some strikes from top position. King lands a couple of digs. King scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King throwing strikes but missing. King cracks Howlett with a solid left hand.#T1# Howlett wants to get back to his feet but King is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Howlett has momentary wrist control but King slips an elbow through the middle. King throwing strikes from guard but Howlett blocks nicely. He lands a short punch in the meantime. King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Master with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. King works his foot free and advances to mount. Master's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. #SUB# King working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. King in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. King slips a nice elbow through Legendary's hands, connecting with Legendary's forehead. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Legendary's temple. Legendary trying to hold on to King's head to control him but King postures up.

Grant dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Grant looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Grant persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing. Some bone on bone action there as King checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Grant scores with a one two! King had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Grant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. JJ King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordon Grant. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grant misses with a takedown #CL# and King holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Grant looks winded! Grant is looking to break free of the clinch but King has double underhooks. #T1# Grant is pressed up against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Grant down to the mat. #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nice defenses there by Ram. Ram appears to be looking for a big counter. King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. An attempted straight right counter from Ram misses the target. King throws a sloppy body shot
and Ram counters with a left and a right that stings King. King misses with a series of wild punches.
Ram throwing a counter right hand but King manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts King, as that shot connected.
#T1# King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ram is looking for a counter combo. Ram slips under a jab. Ram definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. King misses with a body punch

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King swats away the attempt to clinch by Gaines. Gaines shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gaines's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
