#R1# A jab from Rush finds it's way through Gelovkin's defenses. Gelovkin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rush defends well and Gelovkin ends up having to push Rush into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rush throws a chopping leg kick but Gelovkin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.#TD2# Gelovkin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rush is trying to get back to half guard.#SUB2# Gelovkin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rush is trying to escape and Gelovkin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rush is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gelovkin! Very nice indeed!

#R1# A head kick misses from Adrabyzinov. Rush moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Rush takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Adrabyzinov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rush lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Adrabyzinov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rush stuffs the takedown attempt from Adrabyzinov. Adrabyzinov gets slowly back to his feet. Adrabyzinov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adrabyzinov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rush tries to avoid it but Adrabyzinov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rush to the ground. Rush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Adrabyzinov moves forwards but Rush connects with a nice, crisp jab. A low kick from Rush misses #TD# and Adrabyzinov counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rush! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adrabyzinov cracks Rush with a big elbow. Rush prevents Adrabyzinov from moving into mount. #T1# Adrabyzinov advances to full mount. Adrabyzinov controlling from mount. Rush in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Adrabyzinov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Adrabyzinov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Rush is looking to improve his position but Adrabyzinov isn't that keen on the idea. Adrabyzinov landing strikes from the mount.#T2# Adrabyzinov lands with some strikes. A nice elbow there by Adrabyzinov. Rush looks winded! Adrabyzinov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rush is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adrabyzinov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#SUB# Adrabyzinov quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Adrabyzinov but it's paid off an Rush is forced to tap! Nice work by Adrabyzinov.

Uhem Adrabyzinov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
