Nice work!#TD2# Kullen tries to sprawl but Dean drives through with a takedown into half guard.#SUB2# Dean is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kullen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dean. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dean is keen to just control but Kullen is a slippery customer.#SUB2# Dean is trying to work for a kimura but Kullen is defending well.

#R1# Dean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hope as he avoids it easily. Hope connects with a body shot. Hope defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dean. Dean looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Dean closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hope circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Hope as Dean shoots in. Dean goes for a double leg but Hope avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hope continues to drive forward.#BC# Dean breaks the clinch.
Dean takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A punch lands to the side of Dean 's head but he takes it in his stride. Dean shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hope defends it nicely. A decent looking cross lands there for Hope. Dean has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hope finds it's way round the side to connect with Dean's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dean misses with a takedown attempt and Hope counters with a lovely shot to the body. Dean is breathing heavily. Dean misses with a takedown and Hope counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hope rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dean moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dean misses with a takedown attempt and Hope counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hope cracks Dean with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dean misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jimmy Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hope lands a body shot.

Hope throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dean stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hope lands a nice hook to Dean's body. Dean takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hope fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dean on the side of the head.#ROC2#Dean is rocked!#T4# Dean takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Oh Dean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hope rushes Dean with punches - Dean moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Dean goes down! Hope follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Dean with a lazy takedown attempt and Rivera counters with a straight right hand. Rivera getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Rivera throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Rivera scoring well with a low kick there.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hunter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hunter looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunter, not yet. Dean postures up.
#SUB2# Dean is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hunter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hunter has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR##SUB2# Dean has his foot on Hunter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunter works his way back into a safe position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dean tries to land a sweep but no joy.
