Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Drake has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA St Petersburg in the buildup to the fight.
Hill takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Hill slaps away a takedown attempt from Drake, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hill throws a counter combo.
Drake swinging wildly here.
Hill closes the distance and clinches up with Drake, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes Drake against the cage but Drake circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hill misses with a double jab.
Charles Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Drake jabs Hill to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Drake throws a hook to the side of Hill's head but Hill sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A nice leg kick from Drake, right into the meat of the thigh.

Drake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drake tries to clinch there but Hill circles away.

Hill leaves Drake with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by Hill.
Hill unleashes a big counter combination but Drake bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Drake throws a sloppy head kick

Hill shoots in and bounces Drake off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Drake has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hill is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Drake is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Drake throws a lazy right hand but Hill sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hill lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Drake drops Hill with a straight right hand, right on the button! Drake follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

After the fight, Charles Drake was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
