Stein shoots in but Rush avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rush tries to counter with a takedown but Stein is quick to defend against it.
Stein shoots in and drives through. Rush sprawls well.
Stein goes for a double leg but Rush avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rush continues to drive forward.
Rush changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Amari Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spencer Stein.
Stein has a takedown stuffed.
Rush half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#TD2#
Stein shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rush's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rush wants to get back to full guard but Stein has mounted him!
Rush tries to hold on but Stein postures up.
Stein lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent. #SUB2#
Rush has left one of his arms exposed and Stein doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rush screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Stein looks to clinch
and Suns cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stein fails with the takedown
and Suns counters with a two punch combo.
Suns lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stein backs up against the cage.
Stein moves to clinch but Suns breaks away
and Suns counters with a series of strikes. Stein will be more careful next time no doubt.
Stein with a lazy takedown attempt
and Suns counters with a nice uppercut. #TD#
Stein darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Suns can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stein shoots in but Roshan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stein with a poor takedown
and Roshan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Roshan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stein as he avoids it easily.
Spencer Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stein doesn't succeed with the takedown#CL#
and Roshan counters by moving into the clinch.
Pasindu Roshan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spencer Stein.
Roshan wants a takedown.
Stein tries to score a body lock takedown but Roshan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Stein jumps guard but Roshan stands there with Stein around his waist. Stein gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Roshan tries to pull guard but Stein won't allow it.
Roshan unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Roshan is pressed up against the cage. Stein has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Roshan down to the mat. Roshan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Stein slaps away a takedown attempt from Roshan, before circling back to the center of the mat.#TD2#

Roshan has a closed guard, preventing Stein from standing up.
Roshan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SUB2#
Stein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stein sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roshan's guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stein lands a nice short elbow.

Rodrigues tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stein paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stein tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Rodrigues manages to circle out of the way.

and Stein counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Stein drops an elbow to the side of Rodrigues's head. #ROC#Rodrigues is rocked!
Stein controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Rodrigues is out! Stein gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!

Stein creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.#SUB#
Stein is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mi is trying to escape and Stein transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mi is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stein! Very nice indeed!
