Marquez tries to circle away but Torrente has him pinned against the cage. Torrente blocks an elbow strike. A nice glancing elbow lands by Torrente. #CUT#It looks like Dominic Marquez has been cut. Marquez tries to land a knee to the head but Torrente blocks with his arms.
Torrente throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Torrente comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. With the fighters up against the cage, Torrente throws an elbow but misses. Torrente throws an elbow but it misses.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Nice elbow from Torrente. Torrente lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Torrente throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Karlson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Marquez dives in and grabs Karlson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Karlson pushes down on Marquez's head and hops out. Marquez on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Karlson throws out a powerful jab. Karlson misses with a two punch combination.
Karlson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Marquez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Karlson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Good standup being displayed there by Karlson as he connects with a hook. Karlson thuds his right hand into Marquez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.#CL2# Marquez gets a clinch. Karlson swings wildly with an uppercut but Marquez uses good head movement to avoid it. Marquez blocks an uppercut.

Marquez looks winded!#T3# Karlson tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Marquez working away. Karlson is looking to regain half guard here but Marquez keeps moving and retains side control. #SUB2# Marquez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Karlson is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4# Karlson struggling a bit here. Karlson is pushing Marquez's head away, looking to escape. Marquez manages to hold on to the position though. Marquez working away.#SUB2# Marquez has an Americana. Karlson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Marquez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Marquez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Dominic Marquez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. #R1##TD2# Alfredsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Marquez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Marquez wants to hit a sweep here but Alfredsson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Marquez there! Marquez tries to hold on but Alfredsson pushes him away. #SUB2# Alfredsson looking to secure an arm triangle but Marquez defends it well. Alfredsson controlling from the full mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alfredsson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Alfredsson controlling from mount. #T1# Alfredsson misses with a head shot.#SUB2# Alfredsson has control of Marquez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Marquez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Let's hope that Alfredsson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Alfredsson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Marquez because Alfredsson loaded up on that one. #T3# Marquez holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Alfredsson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Marquez wants to control but Alfredsson is having none of it. Alfredsson unloading with bombs! And that is the end of the round. #R1##CL# Parke closes the distance and clinches. #TD# Parke tightens his grip and picks Marquez up, before dumping him to the ground. Marquez manages to land in guard. Parke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marquez is keeping the position for now. Marquez has control of Parke's left arm, preventing Parke from doing any damage. Let's hope that Marquez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Marquez has his feet on Parke's thighs here. He's pushed Parke off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Parke screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
