#R1##CL2# Mraz darts in and clinches Rowan up against the cage.#TD2# Mraz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rowan uses from the top position. Mraz lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Rowan is fighting to break Mraz's control of his arms but Mraz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Rowan wants to control from the top but Mraz keeps moving. Rowan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mraz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rowan throwing strikes but missing. Mraz wants to stand up but Rowan is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mraz keeping moving, preventing Rowan from controlling successfully. #SUB# Rowan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T1# Rowan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rowan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rowan trying to control the position from guard on top but Mraz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Mraz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Rowan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mraz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mraz's back! Mraz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rowan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mraz trying to control the hands but Rowan won't let him. Mraz defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rowan misses with a punch to the head. #SUB# Rowan is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Mraz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. #T3# Mraz tries to roll but Rowan sticks to his back.
