Nolan slips under a jab. Nolan moves out of range of the strikes. Nolan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nolan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nolan blocks a head kick by Bailey.

Bailey has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Bailey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bailey lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Nolan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nolan wants to counter the offense by Bailey and move into the clinch position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bailey lands with an uppercut that bounces Nolan off the cage and back into range. Bailey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nolan.

#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.#CL# Antigua darts in and clinches Bailey up against the cage. Bailey is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Antigua stalling the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey effectively controlling the action here.#T1# The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Antigua takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bailey is looking to control Antigua's arms but Antigua gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bailey has his back to the cage. Bailey tries to stall but Antigua uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Antigua's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
