Magomedov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #KD# and Ropata counters with a crisp right hand that drops Magomedov! Ropata lets Magomedov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC#Magomedov is rocked! Magomedov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ropata counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Jones trying to move into half guard but instead Magomedov has managed to sweep!#REVR# Jones keeping moving, preventing Magomedov from controlling successfully. Jones controlling the position. Magomedov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Magomedov trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Magomedov throws an elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Magomedov's guard. Nice move by Jones!#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Magomedov looks panicked! Nicely done. Magomedov controlling the position from side mount. Magomedov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Magomedov tries to move to mount but Carter blocks the move with his legs. Carter is looking for a sweep. Carter is trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magomedov working away. Carter looking for a sweep but Magomedov has passed into full mount! Oh no! Carter is trying to escape the mount but Magomedov keeps good control and instead manages to take Carter's back.
