Drake striking from the bottom here. Drake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Drake pulls Robertson in close to prevent any damage. Drake looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drake throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
#SUB# Drake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Robertson defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1##SU2# Robertson gets to his feet. Drake looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Drake is looking to clinch. Drake has a takedown stuffed. Robertson tries to counter with a clinch but Drake shakes him off and moves away. Robertson tries to close the distance and clinch but Drake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A lazy body kick from Robertson and Drake counters with a one-two to the body. Robertson shoots in for a double leg but Drake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Robertson looks winded! Drake fails with an attempt to clinch.
Robertson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drake tries to avoid it but Robertson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drake to the ground. Drake escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #T2# Drake looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Drake lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Drake tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robertson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drake somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Drake. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drake looks to land a combination. Robertson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD# Drake dives in and scores a takedown into Robertson's guard.#T3# Robertson pulls Drake in close to his closed guard and prevents Drake from doing any damage or advancing position. Drake advances position into side control! Drake in side control, just content to control the action for now. Drake working the head and body with strikes. #T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Drake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robertson keeps working. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Drake working the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robertson can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Drake wants to control but Robertson is keeping him busy. #R1# Decent striking displayed by Gallagher there. Drake fails with the takedown. Gallagher throws a nice looking combination but Drake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sebastian Gallagher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drake tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A left and a right from Drake both land. Nice combination. Gallagher fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.#CL2# Gallagher moves into the clinch. Drake takes a shot to the head. Gallagher lands a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gallagher throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Drake misses with a hook to the ribs.
