and Pleb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Umarov misses with a combination
and Pleb counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've been told by Pleb's head coaches at Stormcrow Centre that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Umarov throws a head kick but Pleb moves out of range.
Pleb quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pleb crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Umarov - the referee stops the clock and Pleb gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Umarov. Pleb manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bagomed Umarov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Umarov misses with a takedown and Pleb counters with a nice low kick that buckles Umarov's knee momentarily. A kick lands to the mid section there for Pleb. Umarov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pleb finds it's way round the side to connect with Umarov's head. Pleb cracks a nice hook into Umarov's ribs. A head kick by Umarov misses and Pleb counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Umarov thinking. Umarov looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pleb scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Umarov throws a head kick that misses and Umarov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Umarov takes a jab right on the nose. Pleb fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Umarov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Pleb scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pleb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Umarov closes the distance but Pleb moves to the side and Pleb counters with a nice uppercut. Umarov throws a sloppy head kick and Pleb counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Pleb connects with a solid leg kick. Pleb ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Umarov looks to throw a body kick and Pleb counters with a lovely straight right hand! Umarov walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pleb. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pleb scores with a leg kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Samson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T1# Samson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans.
