#R1# Lokren dives in and grabs Primus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Primus pushes down on Lokren's head and hops out. Primus is looking to counter punch. Lokren shoots in but Primus avoids the takedown attempt easily. A little feinted left hand from Primus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.#TD2# Lokren feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lokren with a nice head shot there. Lokren lands a couple of decent looking shots. Primus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lokren stopping the sweep attempt from Primus. Primus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lokren throwing strikes from guard but Primus blocks nicely. #SUB2# Lokren drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Primus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lokren has Primus in his guard.#REVR# Primus wants to control from the top but Lokren keeps moving. Primus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lokren swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lokren will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Lokren swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T3##SUB2# Lokren escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Primus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lokren striking off his back but it's not causing Primus any problems. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lokren throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Lokren has given up his back - I don�t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

#R1# Primus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trel tries to avoid it but Primus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trel to the ground. Trel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Primus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trel avoids it really well and circles away. Primus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Primus somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Markus Primus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Primus tries for a takedown but Trel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#TD2# Trel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Primus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Trel works over Primus with some ground and pound from guard. Primus drops down looking for a counter takedown but Trel sprawls and moves away. Trel stalks Primus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Primus's face. Primus staggers backwards, shaken. This has been an exciting period of action! Trel fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Trel looks winded! Primus fails with a takedown attempt. Trel tries to clinch but Primus moves away #TD# and Primus counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Trel! #R1# Nice takedown defense from Primus. No joy for Forte on that attempt. No luck for Forte with that takedown attempt. #TD2# Primus gets a double leg takedown into Forte's guard. Primus is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Forte working a defensive guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Primus lands a couple of digs. Primus controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Primus lands a couple of digs. Primus wants to stand but Kerr has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Primus looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Kerr will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
