Diamonds fails to land the takedown. Diamonds tries for a takedown but Burrow circles away easily and Burrow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Burrow misses with a body shot.
Diamonds throws a sloppy head kick and Burrow moves out of range easily. We've been hearing reports that Diamonds has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Diamonds really is a fat lump. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Tithonus is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Lara shoots and misses #TD# and Burrow counters with a shoot takedown. Lara fights it but they end up in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Burrow (2) vs (0) Lara Burrow wants to control from the top but Lara keeps moving. Burrow looking to pass the guard. Lara being controlled here, momentarily. Burrow preventing the sweep. Burrow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burrow trying to control but Lara is working from the bottom.
