Santos throws a big counter combination but Cuervo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Santos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cuervo.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Cuervo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A very excited looking Jose Cuervo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Santos is looking to control Stroganov's arms but Stroganov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Santos has his back to the cage.

Santos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stroganov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
I was talking to Stroganov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. #TD#

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Stroganov looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Santos can't hide his disappointment, as Stroganov celebrates the victory.

Cuervo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Santos quite badly. Santos pulls Cuervo in close trying to recover. Cuervo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Santos on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Santos doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
