Sparkles unloads with a big right hand that wobbles John! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sparkles is unloading with more strikes now! John drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Mister Sparkles very nearly forgot to thank Tokzik Dope L.A. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sparkles lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kirk has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kirk and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sparkles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kirk is fending him off so far but Sparkles persists. Nope, Kirk circles away and we're back to standing.
Kirk tries to bum rush Sparkles with a series of wild strikes but Sparkles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sparkles throws a big counter combination but Kirk scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Kirk looks to land a left hand but Sparkles moved out of range nicely.
Sparkles blocks a low kick nicely.
Kirk leaves Sparkles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kirk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sparkles went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sparkles or perhaps it was just good defense by Kirk, which made it look bad.
Kirk tries to counter with a clinch but Sparkles shakes him off and moves away.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kirk in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
