#R1# Ackermann shoots and misses and Artusii counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ackermann's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Artusii connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ackermann scrambles back to his feet. Ackermann fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ackermann goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Ackermann tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ackermann is breathing heavily. Ackermann tries for a takedown but Artusii sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Ackermann. That's going to take a lot out of him. Artusii lands with a right hand. #KD2# Artusii feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ackermann sprawling to the canvas! Ackermann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Artusii finish him?!
#ROC2#Ackermann is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Artusii lands a nice shot to the body.
Oh Ackermann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Artusii dances in with a quick combination. Ackermann is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Artusii snaps Ackermann's head back. Ackermann stumbles backwards against the cage. Artusii steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Ackermann's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Ackermann just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gordon Artusii! A relieved looking Gordon Artusii thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
