John shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sparkles pinned against the cage. Sparkles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from John is defended easily by Sparkles.
Mister Sparkles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sparkles felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Sparkles unloads with a big right hand that wobbles John! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sparkles is unloading with more strikes now! John drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Junky fails with a takedown attempt.
John avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Danga de danga de dang - Junky scores with a four punch combination!
John checks a leg kick nicely.
John went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

John tries to work over Junky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #TD#
John turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Junky sneaks out the side door and pushes John away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

John feints and as Junky raises his hands in defense, John changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SUB2#
John is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Junky has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. John is looking to defend but Junky has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for John! Junky pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, John taps out and this one is all over!
